Boat or Kayak mangrove tour from the Terraba River

Join us to live a relaxing natural experience. In this wonderful adventure we will visit the Térraba-

Sierpe National Wetland. This area includes the largest and most important mangrove forests in

Costa Rica. The wetland is immensely rich in flora and vegetation. In addition, it has a wide variety

of fauna associated with wetlands, serving as a refuge site for many species of wildlife, such as

mollusks, fish, numerous birds, diferent kinds of mokeys, among other species. All this makes this tour

the perfect opportunity to appreciate life expressed in every corner you look at.

The meeting point from Térraba is approximately 15 minutes from Uvita. For this tour clients have the

option to choose between kayak or boat, for the same price. We will provide you with the exact

location of the departure point when booking, as this is different for Boat and Kayak.

Departure Time Between 6:00am and 9:00am. 2.5 hours.

Observations

Exact departure time depends on the tide, in the morning it varies between

6:00am and 9:00am. We will confirm the exact time prior to the tour.

Ask for availability in the afternoon (this depends on the tide and number of

people). Check availability for Kayak or Boat (AM or PM).
